And a small seminar on "city Knowledge".
Ought to be good for a 'point' or two.

And, and:

JRChace 15th Nov 2012, 3:47 AM edit delete reply
Charisma is definitely his highest stat score!
Centcomm 15th Nov 2012, 9:55 AM edit delete reply
hmm I dont recall what his Charisma would be but I guess it would be higher ( if he actually used it in the game *eye-roll at marcus above* )

his presence is accualy low.. but his appearance is incredibly hi... there are other factors that play in to things though..

He is precisely what she needs right now. Though of course she would be the last to admit it. Great repartee.
Centcomm 15th Nov 2012, 9:56 AM edit delete reply
yep she tends to get a wee bit defensive when she thinks someone is making fun of her. comes from a inferiority complex..

Her eyes came out especially well in that last panel.

The back and forth works pretty well. He sort of reminds me of a bard, other than a working cut purse, nobody knows a city better than a harper.
Centcomm 15th Nov 2012, 9:59 AM edit delete reply
danke - Jax and Tama have the same color eyes both are listed as "grey" but I decided that elves should have something "diffrent" about thier eyes after all they can see into specra we cant and often have better than human eyesight ( legolas for example )so there MUST be some diffrence so I went with a subtle effect well sorta ..

** edit you mentioned Harpers - I assume you are familar with forgotten realms :D
Draginbeard 15th Nov 2012, 4:33 PM edit delete reply
Yes, though I didn't play in, or run a game with that setting. I also recall a series written by Anne McCaffrey called 'Harper Hall of Pern' which is what I was thinking of when I made reference to Harpers.

Honestly I'm not a huge fan of pre-made (Greyhawk, Forgotten Realms, Ravenloft, Dark Sun ect.) campaign settings because some of the people I used to play with would read everything and ultimately know more than I did about my own campaign.

I kind of went through some of those (and anything else that caught my fancy) and swiped what I liked, then pieced together something more my speed.

Anyway, I was thinking that Jax has the personality of someone street wise, clever, with clear sense of right and wrong, but gets into his share of trouble just for the fun of it. That's sort of rough idea of how I picture a bard.

Tama could learn a lot teaming up with that kind of rogue.
Centcomm 15th Nov 2012, 4:37 PM edit delete reply
yes she could. and you and I both share a lot on the "pre-made" generally I would keep some personalitys and maps the same but I mixed up changed altered or outright threw out what I didnt like and add in stuff I did. some like tossing all but 3 or 4 types of Dragons.. im sorry i dont need plaid turquoise , hot pink, ect ect ect .. so I broke it down to the very basics Red,Black, white, gold, and a very few subtypes..

** I LOVED the harpers in annes books - I have the entire series. :D

If you haven't already, I highly recommend The Deed of Paksenarrion by Elizabeth Moon. It is hands down, my favorite sword & Sorcery book. Steven Brust's Vlad Taltos series is my second. After those...the list becomes a free-for-all cage match.
